Previous PostToday was a bit surreal – like spending a day inside a postcard. The most incredibly beautiful beaches I've ever been to, fault-less weather with blue skies and beaming sun, the softest, golden sand and warm clear waters. I ate excellent Thai food and drank the best coconut and mango shakes, even spent an hour getting a massage right on the beach. I spent it in the company of someone amazing, and I couldn't imagine any way to have made the day more perfect. I think sometimes, yes it's important to feel sadness, grief and to reflect on death and impermanence.. a theme that's featured a couple of times in my life recently .. but it's also important to get out and find something truly awe-inspiring to take your breath away and remind you how absolutely incredible each moment on this crazy planet can be. ??? p.s Thailand is only about a million times better than I remember it being.. I think I'm definitely more in love with the south of the country!

Next PostOver the past many (many) years of travel I've had plenty of amazing days and unforgettable experiences – but today makes it high up my list of perfect days. An entire afternoon of sunshine, gorgeous islands, snorkelling and chilling out on a rather impressively restored Siamese junk. Some of the most beautiful views, swimming with tropical fish and enjoying dinner with an epic sunset. Finished off with truly magical night-snorkelling with bioluminescent plankton… like swimming amongst the stars. Stay tuned for more pics & updates!
