Mexican market life.. and this is one of my favourite markets in the world. The Mercado 20 de Noviembre is a treasure trove of colour and flavour and excitement. Spices and mole pastes, chiles and chapulines (grasshoppers), tortillas and tomatillos. Elotes and nopales(corn and cactus paddles) decorate every corner. Tacos, tamales and pozole carts appear as the sun goes down and the streets smell like roasting cacao. If you like food, this is one place you might never tire of, I certainly don’t & feeling pretty lucky to get to wander these streets every day.
