If you need me, I’ll be over here becoming Canadian Anna 3 years ago If you need me, I’ll be over here becoming Canadian Share this: Adiós México, you’ve been amazing as always. But, I have a new home now. This morning I crossed into Canada and collected a shiny new 2 yr work permit from Vancouver Airport before hopping over to Victoria on Vancouver Island to settle into what is now my new homebase. Looking forward to being a temporary Canadian and exploring this stunning island and wonderful country. #canada??July 11, 2019In "Photos"This is me .. well, me a few years ago when I was sitting in a train carriage somewhere in between Northern China and Central Mongolia. ? ? After the passing of my father, I had a sudden urge to find the furthermost corners of the planet. The smells that remind me of Mexico and bring me home to all my memories of here and life by the sea for golden sand all over my legs and toes when I walk home from the beach for sleeping to the sound of cicadas and crashing waves for Mexican food and all it’s glorious deliciousness for second hand bookshops and their small shelf of English books for practicing Spanish and enjoying life in another culture from my own for margaritas on the beach for lunch for knowing without a doubt I’ve made the right choices in my life for being able to live in the now, without thinking of the past or future, wishing to be present more with every moment so they don’t slip away from meJanuary 26, 2019In "Photos"
