Share this: My 2 months nestled into Victoria City is already over halfway through. I took a little time to settle down into a quieter life, one that involves a broken hand in a plaster-cast (and introduction to the Canadian healthcare system), more wandering the summertime leafy street (with less bicycling than I’d hoped) and a lot more studying than I’m used to in my normal day to day. This city is magnificent. I frequently encounter young deer in my front yard, squirrels out my window and otters in the harbour. It has, so far, been delightful. September will bring a trip to Vancouver, then onto Florida & Colorado, followed by a return to this lovely island to explore the wilder, less-citylike parts.August 19, 2019In "Photos"Enjoying misty morning strolls by the lake, eating soup, baking bread, and catching up on relaxing after a busy few months prior. This is going to be lovely monthOctober 5, 2019In "Photos"I cant stress enough how beautiful it is here. If you haven’t, get yourself to BC in the autumn sometime! Until then, I’m going to spent October insta-spamming autumn leaves.October 6, 2019In "Photos"
