Such a good day of getting things done .. have repotted so many of my (formally tiny) baby plants into their new big pots, spent the whole weekend preparing and babysitting a home made 18+ hour tonkotsu base (pictured here in its emulsified, creamy glory infusing with charred leaks & ginger) getting some headway on an Asian-style beef bone broth for later noodle adventures, and whipping up a beautiful rainbow coloured chard, pepper, and lentil smoked paprika casserole while enjoying a pretty lovely French red from @blackmarketnz .. geez with all this cooking you’d almost be forgiven for thinking I’m back working in kitchens again! (Spoiler: definitely not)
