day 7 Today I’m grateful for all the opportunities to spend time in nature and with animals, despite not owning a home or keeping pets of my own. This adorable little kitty I met at a cat cafe here in Christchurch, and this coming weekend I’m dog sitting for my parents. I’m a huge animal (and wildlife) lover, and most who know me are super surprised I haven’t settled down just to have a dog or foster some kittens. Or, you know – become a vet! Animal rescue has run through my veins since I was smaller than I can remember. Many of my trips are motivated by wildlife spotting, it’s one of my greatest joys to see incredible creatures out in their natural habitat. So today I’m thankful for the wide and bio diverse world we are so lucky to live in, and for every dog, cat, and horse sitting opportunity I get to spend some time with furry, feathery and scaly creatures.
