Colorado is beautiful. This is my fifth visit here, so it’s not new anymore, but each time I’m introduced to more beautiful spots, and different seasons, I’d never seen before.

Spending my vacation time discovering high-up mountain lakes on a sunny autumn day, and acclimatising to all the altitude. If you’d asked me 4 years ago where Denver was, I’d have had no idea. I also wouldn’t have known quite how high up it is! Denver is 5280ft (1609m) above sea level, and many of the small mountain towns are twice that. So there’s definitely a period of acclimatising involved in spending time here! But it’s worth it for the views
