One of my favourite native birds around here is the p?wakawaka, or fantail. We get them around our house and yard daily, but this fearless little one was spied taking a bath during our walk around the botanical gardens and let me get as close as I wanted to hang out. The bird life in New Zealand is quite incredible, I love how many different species I get to spot on any given day
Swarms of beautiful purple-throated Carib hummingbirds feed at the Jardin De Balata gardens. I’m endlessly fascinated and delighted by hummingbirds, and to spend a day surrounded by so many was wonderful!

Spent an incredible day hanging out exploring the .. I'm not normally a huge bird watcher but it's the world's largest free-flight walk in aviary and was absolutely incredible.. would recommend it to anybody stopping over in KL!
