This was taken last year, because right now it's way too snowy and this road is closed for the season! But I find visiting the places above the treeline a lot like another planet. So surreal! ? ?

Lake Irene is a gorgeous little picnic spot and trail tucked away towards the Western side of the Rocky Mountain National Park. ? ?
