Such a lovely two weeks in my beloved Oaxaca has come to a close and I’m back in a plane. This time I’m on my way towards Canada. So much good food, all the walking, a surprisingly dry wet season and getting to show one of my favourite spots in the world to one of my favourite people. After some hard goodbyes (for now) I’m making my way towards Victoria, BC. but not before a full transit day spent hanging out in Mexico City airport. Thank you again México – I love this country and I will never stop visiting.
This, this .. this is why I’m here. I don’t mean broadly the food (although, there’s that too) but more specifically this food. This place. This unassuming Bangkok street restaurant discovered almost 2 years ago. The spicy red duck and pineapple curry here has been on my top 5 food experiences of the world list ever since, and I’ve been on a mission to return . It’s not often I’m on a descending aircraft and have already plotted the fastest route from hotel to dinner.. But, here we are. Just as wonderful as I remembered ?
