New post on my blog! New Delhi to Kathmandu by Bus, A Tale of Severe Food Poisoning. ? Due to a cascade of last-minute decisions, I found myself taking a 36 hour upright rickety bus through the foothills of the Himalayas with a severe case of Delhi Belly – vomiting out the window the whole way.? ? As always, the link is in my bio or you can get to it directly at https://buff.ly/3ihBhVQ? ?
Tibetan chilli momo. You can't walk 10metres in Nepal without stumbling across these tasty Tibetan dumplings. On this particular occasion they were stuffed with vegetables and slathered in a spicy soup, eaten with a side of always-amazing Nepalese tea. <3
Tomorrow we leave for Pokhara. Kathmandu has been wonderful but it's time for some fresh air and mountains!
Although I've been in Nepal 4 days now, I've only just managed to get out and see anything of the place. For everything India was lacking, I've found in Nepal. Kathmandu is a gorgeous and vibrant city that is considerably more chilled out than the big cities of India. I am in awe of the sheer quantity and diversity of incredible handicrafts here!
A big thank you to everyone for all the well wishes – it means a lot <3 I have been discharged from hospital and now recovering and taking it easy in Kathmandu.<3
