I have to admit, I didn’t love Puerto Vallarta last time. I was living here for 6 months at the beginning of this year and there were just so many problems for me.
But I’ve decided to give it a revisit, a second chance. Under completely different conditions, a different accomodation, a different neighbourhood, and going it solo this time. I’ll have to say, I’m loving it much more this time & feeling a lot of the same kind of love I have for other Mexican cities.
I’m so grateful to be here, to sit on my patio and journal while the sun rises. To hear the ocean from my bed at night. To be warm, always warm and able to eat all my meals outside. I’m grateful for rest, which I am slowly but surely catching up on. I’m grateful for the rains and the current wet season for making everything so lovely and green. It’s honestly so difficult to be on a beautiful Mexican beach and not just feel so grateful for everything.
